Only 8 days left, then me and hubby are off to NY :D:D we booked last year as its our 25th wedding Anniversary on the 15th and wanted to go somewhere special. Everyone keeps asking have I got lots of spending money for shopping , I am going for the sightseeing more than anything and have loads of things we want to do!! time is going really slowly now!

How fantastic. We would like to go to New York, we'll get there sometime. Our DD has been and says that its fantastic. She's always going on about going back.

 

Congratulations for your 25th. :clap: It is ours also this year in September :dance: (doing motorbike tour to Italy I think - its in the planning stage) :think:

How fantastic... went there with my DD for a long weekend a couple of years ago...We walked for miles and miles so take comfy shoes...

 

I can recommend the buses for getting about (you can buy tickets at the subway stations)...can't remember which way round it is now, but they go either up odd numbered and down even numbered streets (or the other way round), and a similar thing with east to west..so basically you only have to walk across or down a block to find a bus.

 

have fun....there's a lot more to NY than shopping!!!

Back :)))) had a wonderful and amazing time, thinks it was my best holiday after florida with the kids.

 

We did loads of stuff, Empire State, Rockefeller Centre, Bronx Zoo, Staten island ferry (we got straight on queued indoors) shopping but really needed a woman with me for more of that :roll::lol: , oh and Tiffanys where i was bought a beautiful necklace :D:D
