Guest
People that say 'i haven't booked a holiday for next year as we don't know if we can afford it, apart from the 2 week cruise ' (happened this morning i was ) that reminds me, people who plead poverty when it comes to gifts for other people but treat themselves to lavish nights out etc. It was my 40th recently (over a month ago) and i still haven't had any presents from certain members of my family! Even a token box of chocs would have been nice but zilch, nada, nothing because 'they can't afford it' but they go out for meals every weekend! One of these people still hasn't bought us a Christmas present either but we bought them one AND one for their child. It shouldn't bother me but it does because we never forget other people, no matter how tight for cash we are. Also, people who say they will come to something and then back out at the last minute, why say you're coming in the first place? Just say 'I'll let you know nearer the time'!!! Snoxy
My SIL...she didn't invite my daughter to her only daughters Birthday party again (they are 5 years of age within 2.5 months of each other)...they get along so brilliantly. Last year my daughter only got an invite after a school friend dropped out the day before (her daughter had only been at proper school a couple of months at the time of her party!). Selfish to the core in my opinion...and the biggest joke of all is that when they were babies the said SIL said to me one day...'wouldn't it be lovely if the girls were close as they grow up...Ellin could come on holiday with us especially as D***y is an only child'. Yeah right! Had to choke back the tears last week when my youngest son, age 9, told me in the car on the way to school that the inlaws, SIL and cousin had been talking about the party infront on him the previous day...BANG OUT OF ORDER IN MY BOOK My daughter said from the back of the car...'i want to go to my favourite cousins Birthday party Mummy...it was a difficult moment to say the least. Sorry for going on
Guest
snoxy, that is horrible! Is your SIL your hubbies sister or your brother's wife? can you speak to your hubbie/brother and get them to have a word? I can't believe she would do that!??? Snoxy
SIL is husbands sister...he can't believe she didn't invite his daughter either...we are just at a total loss as to her reason why...no one will ever convince me that whatever her reason it is right...if we had a party for Ellin, my niece would be at the top of the invitation list without any doubt! She is family after all! It just isn't worth saying anything...she just bulldozers her way through life...doesn't give a jot about others in my opinion...the outlaws (inlaws) are just as bad as it seems they went to party (unlike last year when they weren't invited to their own granddaughter's party which was local!!) and didn't say a word when they made their weekly Sunday afternoon visit just two days after the party. My husband said he wants to move to Wales...as 'they' are weird...that speaks volumes to me We honestly haven't done anything at all to upset her...guess some people just don't need to be upset to make odd decisions
Guest
it beggars belief, it really does. I hope you have something nice planned for the same day so the kids don't feel like they're missing out xxxx

batcatz
The person that took my ikea trolley and dumped my ikea bag contents on top of some clocks. I walked around for ages looking for my trolley. They can go in room 101. The person that called me a selfish & rude because he didn't look when he crossed the road so I beeped the horn. He was lucky I saw him! I think he was drunk, but it was only 2pm. The nasty stray cat who keeps attacking my cats for no reason. A neighbour has taken him in although I offered to take him to the RSPCA so he could be rehomed far far away. I agree with the repeated TV thing. I often record programs like X factor so I can skip through all the recap bits and adverts. Adverts - boring! and finally people that say I sky+ed that. I find it annoying because I don't say I freesated that. It's record! If you say it and you like chickens you don't have to go to room 101. Ain't Nobody Here
My mother The superfit, skinny woman (probably a dancer 'cos she can bend her leg back behind her head during stretches ) at my step class who screeches loudly during high impact tracks . The first time I heard it I thought she'd just escaped from a burning building but realised she'd left her cat/child/life savings behind . That's how loud and inappropriate it is . People (usually it's men) who don't wear deodorant and come to step classes .
