Well I wondered that - but they also use the word 'eggcited' so I wondered if it was just Omlet-speak. Unless they are producing a different shape of hive, I can't see what else they would be launching in bees.

I think it's going to be an Ostrichlu. Similar to the Eglu, but with extraheadroom!

Or maybe the time has finally come for the Piglu?

Hmm, I can see the hens pecking the Swarovski off in no time!

Perhaps an 'austerity' Eglu for these hard-pressed times, a bit like the utility furniture after the war? Wood veneer with cheap handles, and no trimmings, as I recall ...

Hmm but it says "Feature on the Omlet website" so I'm not sure it's a product :?

Something like... "Talk to us" button? Poor old Quin & Barbara would be handcuffed to their laptops :D

Ooh or a competition... or a rewards scheme!

Or a Cube run for the next person to hit 1,000 posts

Just not the camouflage one... can you picture your chickens searching for it, wandering around bokking loudly, heads stretched to the sky... "WHERE'S THE BEDROOM GONE?"...

Or is it just my chooks that are daft?

No, mine would be just like that too. Bokking around all necky and puzzled and trying to roost on the windowsill!

I'm having trouble imagining how it might look :? I can't help the image of wood effect sticky backed plastic from leaping into my brain

I quite like the plain colours, I'm not too sure about multi-coloured ones, perhaps it will grow on me. I guess it will appeal to those who like the more 'natural' look of wooden houses.
