I'm not sure about woodgrain Like Clare, all I can think about is that fablon sticky wood effect stuff that my house was covered in when I bought it

 

Who had the hippy painted Eglu a few years back?

I just searched for a pic of Lesley's painted Eglus but I think I must be thinking of Motherhen's (there was a reference to it on the thread I found). I can't find a pic but it had more stylised flowers than Lesley's precision still life painting

 

Anyway, I'm warming to the idea of wood effect now (so long as it's not woodchip *shudder*)

Someone on my course yesterday was told by Quin (at a recent show) that it's a woodgrain, or patterned eglu. It seems that everyone was being told and it's common knowledge Seems that we're always the last to know

It may have been mentioned in passing at various shows that the panels on the Eglu Go could be changed if one became bored of the colour they chose and that different panels were going to probably become available in time to come but certainly not for the foreseeable future...

It's an add on kitchen for the Eglu. So, if the hens are up early, instead of calling us to them, they bring us breakfast in bed!

Eggs on toast, and maybe honey on toast too.

Wonder if they can manage a kettle.

I like that idea. Freshly boiled eggs for breakfast, surely - they could lay straight into the saucepan!

 

So it's not woodgrain, that sounded totally credible to me. And it's not ostrich, piglu or a new Beehaus. Hmmm

 

I can remember the excitement before the Cube was launched, and how desperate we were to see pictures of it. Seems ages ago, now!

Maybe some of you can remember that when we had the excitement last year ( and it turned out to be the Go- I think- or was it the Beehaus?) Christian knew about it before the rest of us.. Christian - are you on holiday yet??

I think they have re designed the cube. I really hope so! I'm not keen on my cube, but the chooks love it. So a new style of cube would be great. Of course I'd have to have one!

Or they have re lauched the classic eglu in.....yellow! OMG, that would be fab. Or a black out eglu for cockerels - made in black moulded plastic - to keep it darker in the mornings! Or a white one with black spots like a dalmation?

I wish they did swirly whirly coloured eglus. They do it with crocs (shoes), so why not with eglus?

So many things that could be done - oh & I'd love to have some funky sunshades - instead of plain coloured ones.

 

I'd love a human sized eglu too - the shedlu would definitely be in my shopping basket!

Perhaps an eglu like a standard chicken house (similar to Chicube but better ?) I would have to have one of those Oh and I'd really like an eglu table to match my eglu and cube and a portable ladder too

Maybe an official way of putting the door on the side of the Cube run? That would be useful? Or a full-height WIR style run for the Cube?

That sounds like a product so can't be that. Feature would be telelink to omlet when you want to comment on your purchases.
