Been making a Cath Kidston Xmas list. I had a dogalogue the other day. I look then it goes for shredding, if of no interest. Can't wait for the cats version & I like the owls catalogue a real lot!

My dear mother has had a subscription to Ideal Home for 2 years. I bought her a lovely set of Kath Kidson mugs for her birthday last week and she looked at them and said "Kath Kidson? I've never heard of her". Was she trying to wind me up? Then she said "Have plain things gone out of fashion now?" Arghhh! Mother! I'll just nip down Birkenhead Market next time!

The charity shop that I volunteer in has just put out the display of christmas cards & we've already booked the xmas lunch date in the diaries at work - Im a real humbug & try to stay in denial about it until mid-December so am completely traumatised by all this festive stuff in August
