Snowy
Ruby is auditioning for the latest horror movie: I only took them to the park to avoid the usual daily dirty dog. I forgot football season is back on, hence the muddy goals
Ain't Nobody Here
Tell me she didn't have to get in a car to go home ?
Deb Dav
Ahhh that is fantastic Dread to think what happened when you got home?
Snowy
No car thank goodness, we'd only walked to the local park And she went straight round the back of the house, got tied up in the garden and hosed down. You should've seen the pitiful looks she was giving me, and all the quivering and trembling she was doing as I squoze apple scented doggy shampoo all over her. But I showed no mercy She is now back in a fit state to join me on the settee

The Dogmother
Well, if you're gonna do a job, you have to do it properly!!! I can imagine Snowy laughing her head off too, once she'd got over the shock! Here's one of Rubester after a similar event last year... at least it was 'clean mud' and didn't stink. (She doesn't normally wear a harness; it's for hauling her out of bogs when we walk along rivers )
beach chick
omigod!!!!!!! that is quite something... I think I'd find it hard to love a dog that dirty!! (altho Ozzie went swimming in the canal today, and STANK the car out!)
MarkBevBen
what fab photos, I bet she thoroughly enjoyed getting all muddied up there! Does she like her bath afterwards? Our Ben loves nothing more than getting as dirty, smelly as possible - especially if we meet one of his doggy pals whilst we're out and they have a good run and skinny dip together!! Recently him and a golden retriever were skinny dipping and got absolutely filthy - the other doggy was black like Ben!!! He does love being bathed afterwards though bless him! kinsk
fantastic pictures! Tops anything mine have ever done! My collies favourite is wading through stangnant leaf mouldy ponds in the woods.
coco
Lovely photos. My white GSd loves mud and will go and play in it whenever she gets the chance which isn't very oftern.
Couperwife
she looks like she thoroughly enjoyed that Snowy I can imagine the "you are NOT coming back in this house looking like that!!!!!" bless her cathy x
stoice
Brilliant photos. It's always just after a roll in something stinky that they want cuddles isn't it? LOL Here's our little cherub after a day at the beach (Luckily it was mostly sand, not stinky mud or poop this time) *Click to enlarge*
Snowy
Well the bogmonster was thwarted today - her wallow had turned to dust!
Lesley
Good grief!! - she's worse than our pigs in their wallow
Lavenders_Blue
Good grief!! - she's worse than our pigs in their wallow Maybe 'as happy as a springer in muck' would be a more appropriate saying than 'as happy as a pig in muck'. That is certainly one impressive display of wallowing
