Rumba and waltz aren't allowed lifts that is why Craig marked her down both times. It drives me nuts that Artem keeps throwing these lifts and things in because she's good enough not to need them and he keeps getting her marked down for rule breaking. I though either Gavin was badly overmarked or matt was badly under marked. There was a huge difference between the two of them at to only get one point of difference in their latin dance was mad. The 'lift' was only marked down because Kara's leg unintentionally left the ground, they are allowed to swing the woman around as long as a foot remains on the floor. Obviously as they are twirling round her leg accidentally left the floor for a split second or two. All of my voting will be going to Kara now. C&T Posted December 13, 2010 Share Posted December 13, 2010 Think Kara acknowledged the "lift" as well - she said she was trying to keep her foot on the floor, and seemed to know she hadn't quite managed it... I do really like Kara's dancing - her figure etc really works with all the dresses they are making for her etc. But, I still really like Pamela. It's not just that she is good for her age - she is good fullstop. She seems so relaxed, really enjoying herself, and her and her partner seem to have really clicked as dance partners. And while Kara might make the occasional slip up (a "lift" this week, a wobble the other week) Pamela hasn't done that - so I am "Team P" all the way!! The show dances were a bit weird - liked Pamela's the best because of the dance content I think, the others seemed more like circus acts rather than dances? Very good, just not dances....?
