Bless Matt, he really looked as though he was going to cry. I thought he did very well but a biased. Kara was exquisite, wasn't she? Her arms are so graceful and she looked as light as a feather.

 

I still think Matt will win as the female population are behind him in their entirety but Kara should probably win on improvement and overall impact.

 

Lovely that there are 3 shows this week. But boy did they all look bushed after the swing off!

It was fantastic last night. Kara & Artem's VW was just so beautiful and my favourite dance this year. They are both so graceful, just lovely. :D

 

Scott and Pamela did well although I hated Pamela's dress.

 

Gavin was a bit wooden.

 

Poor Matt, he tried so hard. I think he was let down badly by his choreography. The judges were right when they said there wasn't enough 'armography' she just seemed to be twirling through his hands. I also didn't like the thing they did on the floor.

 

I think you may be right in that he will get lots of votes for him but he was probably scored about right as it just seemed so frantic. :?

I didn't like Matt's dance and I was really disappointed. I agree I think Aliona let him down last night with the choreography. I also thought that whoever danced last would always have a disadvantage in the Swing dance as they had less time to recover. Matt had to bounce back quickly from comments that obviously hurt him.

 

The good side is that people may be more inclined to vote for him as he is in a more vulnerable position on the leader board.

 

Kara is a class act and I think should win but I really want Matt to win. I'd like Pamela to get to the final too.

I am positively seething. Pamela did not deserve 40 for that excuse of a quickstep. It was slow and stompy and more like an AS. How come the judges didn't pick up on any of that. Unbelievable. :evil:

 

I absolutely adored Kara's rhumba and it gave me goosebumps. Why she doesn't get 40 is beyond me. :roll: I'm feeling so annoyed I might not bother watching next year.

 

Loved Matt's tango, didn't enjoy Scott's Charleston as much as I thought I would and Gavin's VW was a pale comparison of Kara's.

 

I've just voted numerous times for Kara and I snuck one in for Matt too.

Just watched tonight's programme and also caught up with last night's, as I hadn't watched it. Felt so sorry for Matt last night, the low scores and poor judges' comments seemed to be all down to the choreography. What a shame that he was marked down because of this - surely the judging is for the execution of the choreography the celebrity has been given? It wasn't worth 40 points, but he was really undermarked.

Kara was sublime, her rumba should have been 40 points but at least there is small consolation in that she is at least at the top of the leaderboard where she deserves to be.

Had high hopes for Scott's charleston but it was just sort of... okay.

Liked Pamela's quickstep too, but not worth more points than Kara's rumba.

The swingathon was so funny! Anyone else notice that Gavin and Katya had to be removed from the dance floor?!

I just don't get why Kara, who is pure genius, is not being given a full house of 10's. Last night's dance, and tonight's rumba were spellbinding, and yet, Pamela, who is good, but not as extra special, keeps racking them up.

Me too. I am wondering if this Si some sort of strategic voting - they are marking people down to get the public to vote for them.....? Kara danced a storm as did Matt. Scott seems to have run out of Oooomph. The Plank danced better than before, but he has absolutely no musicality, sense of rhythm or expression :roll: . I find Pamela a bit gushy, but she's a good dancer.

Well I could not agree more - am a huge fan of matt but thought kara was absolutely sublime both last night and tonight - and if push came to shove would vote for her (as all my kids have done) tonight. Scott and Gav to go. I hear on the grapevine that because Pamela is older the judges are voting her higher to keep her in. I think she is fantastic but tomorrw's show dance will not suit her at all.

 

 

Matt my fave, Kara should win! :shock:

I loved Kara's dance it gave me goose bumps too, and I loved Pamela's dance because it was so full of fun. I agree Kara should have got all 10s too, (what was wrong with the lift Craig - or shouldn't there have been one is that why she lost a point?) but I thought Pamela deserved her mark. Scott failed once again to charm me. Matt has imo gone off the boil, but I think a lot of it is down to the choreography (I really don't like Aliona and I wish she would stop pawing at Matt too :vom: ). I feel sorry for Gavin, because he has at last upped his game, but is still leagues behind the rest of them...he should have been dancing like this in week three or four!

 

I agree that Scott and Gavin will probably go tonight. I think Kara should win but as an inspiration for older women I would be quite happy if Pamela won too.
