Richard T
I especially loved Robinson Crusoe He was especially gorgeous as I recall! Brace yourself! There's a picture on this web page - http://www.davidsemporium.co.uk/_SIXTEEN.html I also see from the interweb that Jarvis Cocker chose the theme tune as one of his Desert Island Discs. Guest
Wasn't Rod McKeown the lead singer of Bay City Rollers? And I absolutely LOVED the Brady Bunch. I have a feeling they did one of those Reunions recently. What about The Fonz? Was he 70s?
Snowy
Les McKeown was lead singer of the Bay City Rollers..... I desperately wanted tartan trews, but only managed to get my mits on a scarf ...... What a relief

Egluntyne
erm... Rod, Jane and Freddy? They cropped up on the Peter Kay Comic Relief video. What bothered me was that Jane didn't look a day older and yet it must be 15-20 years since they were on the telly surely?!
JellyB
Ohhh thanks for that Robinson Crusoe link....don't think I'll get much work done today I found a Vangelis version of the theme tune to download

The Dogmother
He was some really girlie young thing that went to seed. Then Now (arrested on drugs charges) What a great advert for NOT using drugs! Needless to say, that was before I developed my attachment to baldies

theherd123
Shirl (school secretary) and I got gassing this morning about old programmes and we had 10 mins so have just gone through this thread and had such a laugh! Marine Boy was her first crush over and above a boy called Mark who lived down the street! She would like to know if anyone remembers Flatleys? A sort of tumbler dryer that didnt tumble? If she ever got into trouble her mum would threaten to use the Flatley stick on her!

If she ever got into trouble her mum would threaten to use the Flatley stick on her! Oh yes...my friend's Mum had one. It was like a metal heated cabinet for drying clothes. You hung things on hangers or laid then on shelves made of wooden slats as I recall. Is that what she was threatened with!
The Dogmother
Gosh, I remember Marine boy - a sort of Peter Pan type figure. I can even remember the theme tune, but I'll spare your ears and not sing it!
