The Good Life - again!

Recommended Posts

Lauren was still hobbling yesterday - and had to take another day off school :? I had to take them to the hospital as daughter has Brachalgia in her hands and is unable to drive (and her car is off the road at the moment) Jake had twisted his ankle at school, and I still don't walk too well - I parked in one of the (many, and all empty) disabled spaces at the new Healthcentre next to the hospital as it was nearer to the Physio centre. I was hot and bothered and just daring someone to say something  "Ooops, word censored!"ody did :(

What a family! You can only laugh really, can't you? Otherwise it would just be too miserable!

Don't worry Clare - I'll look for some pink ones next time I'm allowed in a supermarket  I usually have to stay in the car - Carl runs in and buys me a newspaper and then does a 'hit and run' for any shopping - he says if costs him less that way :?

.....and this is what confronted Carl when he went to check on the lambs yesterday! We can tell by the baa'ing if lambs have entangled themselves in the netting - this one went one step further

Taken on the mobile........

It had managed to get its leg through the handle

Hiya - are the bees easy to keep? Do you have to put anything in the hive and how & when do you remove the honeycomb? I know I sound a bit dumb, but it's all really fascinating.

Ooooh! I could be here all day if I answer that lot Emma  So far, they are easy - there is more work in Aug/Sept time though.

Take a look at the BBKA forum - www.bbka.org.uk

Martin - we found the reason for lack of Duck Eggs to sell to you - a nest of 5 eggs, in the long grass

The ducks aren't too happy at being with the hens - the hens get over the temporary netting and eat the duck's feed and chase them away from the pond  . The Drake chases the hens and upsets the cockerel

We've moved the ducks to a spare run and put her eggs in the nestbox - so far though, she hasn't gone back to them.
