Paola
Lovely house Lesley I saw a complete rainbow for the first time in ages last week. It brought back memories of my childhood
SarahJo
Great pics Lelsey - agree with Kate, at what might be at the end ( ) - the end of the rainbow just misses the and - . Love the quail - really sweet. Hope the rain stops soon getting a bit fed up with it now - even my cherry tree has started to turn red . Egluntyne
Well.....if you read your bible a rainbow was sent as a sign that the flood was over so let's hope that history is repeating itself!

theherd123
Jazz was trying to kidnap one of my shoes Emma - Carl and I chased her round the kitchen to get it back That is one blessing we have! Poppy isnt into shoes! But she does like plant pots (full or empty), drain covers, tub trugs, climbing on the garden table, licking the dishwasher , humping Teddy - should i go on? The Dogmother
Thanks for sharin that with us Em... at least the dishwasher is spared the indignity of being humped!
Sheilaz
Great pics Lesley, so pleased to see them, thanks. Aw Jazz, you look so sweet & innocent.
Lesley
Licking the dishwasher - why do they do that? Jazz's favourite - even more so than shoes - is socks. Carl is always tucking muddy socks into his boots or wellies - Jazz retrieves them - Carl chases Jazz and reclaims his sock............ and appears to stuff them behind whichever cushion is nearest! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee It was the other way round in our house The poor dog would have his face washed by the cat Lovely catching up as always
The Dogmother
When one of my cats was a tiny kitten, she used to try suckling from the dog - who was never that impressed!
Jules.
George the cat likes to have his paw held when he is sat on knees, Jethro licks & washes Hattie until he then decides to attack her. All 3 tolerate each other. Hattie eats anything bar cat food.... she came that way as a rescue cat.
The Dogmother
Biscuit is like that - he and Georgie (timid rescue cat) wash each other then he sinks his teeth into her - no wonder the poor lass is traumatised. He's a little rotter!
Lesley
Cats?........... how could you all turn my thread into one about cats? I don't like cats Carl's birthday yesterday - and he had just the best present ever - we heard from our solicitor that we had exchanged contracts on our house!! We've had a whirlwind 3 weeks as our prospective buyers were not in a chain and we gave our respective solicitors 4 weeks from offer to completion We complete on Wednesday. The 4 week deadline was not helped by a postal strike and a solicitor who put papers in the post to another solicitors office within the same town Both Carl and the buyer have had to help things along with a bit of cross country driving to make sure papers were where we all needed them to be It is such a relief! - to be free of all that debt, well, some of it anyway A bridging loan for 14 months is not to be recommended and has been a real strain to say the least. It was a risk we took to get the dream we'd been looking for and thankfully, it paid off. As we left our house fully furnished we now have a lot of packing to do and we've got a packed weekend with things arranged a long time ago and which we can't change. I'm sure it will all get done eventually - especially if I get off this forum and get painting the skirting boards before all the furniture arrives on Monday Someone asked about bees? - I've not been stung yet, I'm not overly scared of being stung though. If you have a real fear though you may find it difficult. It is scary when you open up the hive - every 7 days throughout summer. We have a beekeeper coming this evening to go through the hive with us.
