cheeky girls
God rest his soul - all I can say is 'watch out all you angels up there - he will no doubt make himself known!' He always reminds me of my late dad who was one of his biggest fans.

Olly
A lovely item on R4 Today Programme from a friend of his, saying how down-to-earth he was and what a lovely person. A sad day indeed.
Seagazer
I remember watching his films as a child, sad, but he got to a good age.
chickenNutter
Both my OH and I were huge fans - it was one thing we found we had in common when we first met! We both have a basic slapstick sense of humour! My OH met him as a child twice - I was deeply jealous. I hope they do a tribute programme to him in the next few months. Anyone read his biography? He had a tragic childhood with a miserable bully of a father. It would make an excellent documentary. RIP Little Norm.
