Redwing Posted October 22, 2010 Author Share Posted October 22, 2010 Ah, Tiggy I was going to ask this question - which one, do you have TomTom?I really want to get a sat-nav as my other one has 'died', and part of the justification for getting the iPhone was that then I wouldn't have to pay out for a separate sat-nav. It's an expensive app (in comparison with most of them) and I want to make sure I get the right one. Do you need a separate GPS receiver? I've bought the NAVV app - it was £3.50 and works just fine - not the very best but it knows where its going and thats the main thing! No idea how to use it yet The phone was unlocked and I have a Tesco iPhone sim now which has unlimited internet, unlimited texts and 250 minutes. I will never use all the minutes my mobile number was transfered to it late last night. I am addicted to Angry Birds The iPhone will be connected to Blue and Me in my car. that should be fun I remember the palarver trying to connect my old phone. And there is an Ocado app, so now I can add things to my shopping list as I think of them, without being at the PC And I've discovered a new use this morning - downloaded a bible app so no more forgetting to pick up a bible from the back of the church. And used the notepad to take notes of the service - helped keep me focussed and stopped me going to sleep, although I swear the minister thought I was playing games on it! This morning whilst reading DS asked me to check something on it and it slid into my cup of tea!!! Needless to say it's not working!!!!!!!! An expensive accident!!!
