So I've Got myself an iPhone - What Now?

Recommended Posts

Ah, Tiggy I was going to ask this question - which one, do you have TomTom?

I really want to get a sat-nav as my other one has 'died', and part of the justification for getting the iPhone was that then I wouldn't have to pay out for a separate sat-nav. It's an expensive app (in comparison with most of them) and I want to make sure I get the right one. Do you need a separate GPS receiver?

I've bought the NAVV app - it was £3.50 and works just fine - not the very best but it knows where its going and thats the main thing!

DS gave me is iPhone this week :D . No idea how to use it yet

The phone was unlocked and I have a Tesco iPhone sim now which has unlimited internet, unlimited texts and 250 minutes. I will never use all the minutes  my mobile number was transfered to it late last night. I am addicted to Angry Birds

The iPhone will be connected to Blue and Me in my car. that should be fun :? I remember the palarver trying to connect my old phone.

There is also Angry Birds Halloween if you manage to get through Angry Birds and still haven't had enough! :?

And there is an Ocado app, so now I can add things to my shopping list as I think of them, without being at the PC 8) And I've discovered a new use this morning - downloaded a bible app so no more forgetting to pick up a bible from the back of the church. And used the notepad to take notes of the service - helped keep me focussed and stopped me going to sleep, although I swear the minister thought I was playing games on it!

I got an Otterbox for my i-phone and it's fantastic keeps it scratch-free and protected, even around horses!

Wow, I just Googled them, they look good - I have a rubber cover for my phone but I am worried about the phone when I am at the stables so thanks

Thanks to everyone who has replied on this thread, I have a lot of good apps now thanks to you all 8)

My fave so far is Planefinder - it tells you where all the planes in the sky are going :D

I've used my phone an awful lot so far and its proved an excellent resource on more than one occassion I am pleased I invested in one :D
