I feel I only chat about one thing on any weather topic...rain...and guess what, we have rain lashing down at present and gusty wind. chickencam Posted October 6, 2011 Share Posted October 6, 2011 We had heavy rain last night and a real change in the weather today, it has been bright for most of the day with some very heavy threatening clouds and a strong really chilly wind, then we had a heavy hail storm for about 5 minutes this afternoon. chickencam Posted October 7, 2011 Share Posted October 7, 2011 It has been warmer here today after a cold start, I went for a walk at lunchtime and got quite warm, but it is now dark and raining, just in time for mums to collect from school. The Dogmother Posted October 7, 2011 Share Posted October 7, 2011 It's been cool (11deg) and windy here all day with the odd heavy shower, about an hour ago we had the hardest shower I've seen in ages - 'American rain' I call it as it's the sort of monsoon type of stuff that you see in US movies but rarely in real life.
