Cant wait for Coronation Street next week! **Spoiler alert.

It was sooo well done - not tacky at all. John's in big trouble, although I think he covers it up by using the disaster?

It will be totally awful tonight - I might even cry! Where is that beautiful little Max?

Poor Tyrone - I just wanted to hug him. I know he's a wet lettuce, but so caring & loyal bless him.

Somehow I don't think the wedding will happen. I loved how just before the disaster it flashed on all the characters.

I loved it. Oh & Corrie is real you know!

Loved the original episode.

It made me chuckle that Ken was so scornful of his family having a cuppa with their evening meal instead of afterwards.

We always did when I was growing up, so 'appen it is a Manchester/Weatherfield habit. My MIL was truly appalled at the idea. She was from this side of the Pennines.

we always had a cup of tea with our evening meal when i was growing up too so maybe it's a northern thing.

Ken's attitude reminds me of that song by 'The Scaffold' 'knees down mother brown'

Emergency services took their time - sunitas looks to be a gonna. We couldnt agree if the baby was a real one or one of those doll things used for teens who want babies and need to be shown its not all hunky dorey being a mum. And where is Max? Will miss tommorrows as at work. boo hiss

Having given up my Corrie addiction a couple of years ago, I just view occasionally, and was tempted back this week. Usually I prefer the humour, which it does so well, rather than tragedy or heartbreak, as I watch for escapism.

As usual, the acting was first class, I thought the live episode was flawless.

The best part for me was when I put the TV on early and caught Eastenders.

Dot announced she was going to buy some marshmallows and get back for an evening in to watch Corrie!"It's the live episode tonight you know!" Brilliant!

Same here, I stopped watching Corrie a few years ago. I work a few evenings a week and it was easy to catch Eastenders at 10pm when I came home and I never found the time for Corrie. Last nights episode was brilliant, even if me and Mr G said a few times "who on earth is that?"

John can only hope that charlotte suffers severe amnesia! Mind you, her parents have met him now so wonder how that one will play out!

I thought the live episode was a bit stupid in places and made me laugh. All that rubbish about Graham carrying on the Peacock sausage roll legacy! How anyone could take that seriously i don't know  And Fizz's acting when giving birth was a bit dodgy :eh:

Anyway, wonder if ken will try and rescue Reet from th'under the pick n mix and get squashed in the process?

I agree some of the story was a little unrealistic but it's a soap so I can live with that. It's the humour of Corrie I love whereas Enders I can do without, would have liked to have seen Dot's Corrie comment though.

There were suppossed to be four funerals so whose do we think they will be?

Ashley and Molly we know

Peter?

Rita?

Charlotte?

are there any other contenders?
