MSN and a webcam are easy. If my Mum can do it, anyone can . Once you're logged into MSN, you can talk via your webcam as easily as if you were face to face. You need speakers and a microphone or headphones with a microphone attached but that's easy peasy.

Just amazes me how much MORE you can do ..... I just hope I can keep up for the boys sake, as it certainly helps them to get on with I.T even at this age. Bens class were all working on laptops in class the other day - aged 7 .

Skype and MSN both have the same abilities. I have both. You need the microphone etc for both and you can talk, type or webcam with both. I started using skype but not as many people have it so its not so great on that score. If you're setting it up to talk to somone specifically its fine though.
