craftyhunnypie
I had a giant cupcake mould for Xmas & wanted to try it out. So have made a giant coffee cake. The thing is, I got a bit impatient waiting for it to cool. So it's a bit erm....messy. Ahh well, it will still get ate I'm sure. Hmmm. P.S . I know it looks like a blow torch on the top of it, but it is infact just a candle. Emma.x
purple hen
Looks great, sure you will get plenty of help to eat it, I was tempted to get one of these moulds but I don't seem to have much luck turning cakes out of silicon moulds.
craftyhunnypie
This did come out very easy, but I did spray & wipe them with fry light. I reckon my cake is pure class. What do you say? Terrible really considering I had a Saturday job decorating cakes when younger. I guess patience is a virtue. Hmm Emma.x

craftyhunnypie
Erm yes that's me. Have I changed a lot? I couldn't be bothered straightening hair today, went for the out of bed look ( nearly). Please note the lack of green dockers present! chestnutmare
It doesn't look messy to me. It looks as though you've purposely drizzled it. 10/10 from me - I'm impressed.
craftyhunnypie
You're not looking close enough at the plate then..it's shocking! Think I'll use a wacky cake batter next time & some Betty Cockers fudgey chocolate icing. Fail proof. Hubby said my face was a picture when the icing just ran off. It was coffee butter cream even though it looks like glace icing. I am usually a decent cook, but was impatient with this. If I can make it to Omletstock 4, I promise to bring a much better one. craftyhunnypie
It doesn't taste too great - as it needed more buttercream in the cake rather than on the the plate. Ha ha! I'll try chocolate next time ( my favourite) & maybe decorate with Smarties, which I also love. I'm a devil for cooking stuff & bakeware. Wonder what other shape tins or moulds I could get?
