I wanted to put the together before OH goes to work tomorrow (morning) as we are meant to be leaving here early Friday morning to pick up the hens (the day's been booked off work).

 

Parcel Force say there's a backlog of orders from Christmas and it should be with me tomorrow, although they can't guarantee it.

 

I hope we haven't wasted a holiday day Friday, for nothing.

I have found Omlet delivers to be very poor, I wish they would use another company!

A friend of mine ordered a badge for her friend from omlet at the beginning of December, and it still hasn't arrived. It was only a little jokey present to go inside a christmas card but will obviously be useless now if it comes. She blamed it on the snow when it didn't come by christmas day, but now it's just stupid!! Think she will be ringing omlet.

My OH ordered egg cups, eggscelter etc etc from the Omlet shop for Christmas for me. He eventually decided to contact Omlet for the tracking number and when he looked online, the order had been on and off the van all week! Why? I haven't a clue!! Which is why I phoned for a tracking number ASAP this time. It's too bad it's got to be chased up. I don't want to get too excited for my now... but I really do hope it's here tomorrow ready for Friday's booked day off from work.

I was panicking a bit when my cube was due as I was collecting hens the same day. Luckily it turned up but the delivery guy brought all the pieces into my garden...then announced he had left all the fixings at head office!! He rang headquaters to see if someone could drive them down - 2 hours. He then announced that he'd found them having already put them in the garden I was very relieved. So I really hope your Go comes tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

 

I have put cube runs together but not attached them to rest of cube. Wondering whether to wait so girls don't get too used to extra space! I will post a pic of work in progress at weekend!

Oh my, I would have been in pieces to think my fixings hadn't been delivered - especially with collecting the hens the same day. And who wants an empty Eglu?
