Look How I've Grown! Gorgeous Pic

Recommended Posts

Oh, she is gorgeous.

We acquired a 5 month old kitten just before Xmas and he's been terrorising our big lad - although I do believe I caught him enjoying it a bit last night. He could definitely do with the exercise.

Did she massacre your Xmas tree like ours did too?

Yes he is. He was a gorgeous cat. I had a ginger kittie when I was about 3 and always wanted another one. Then my very good friends have some cats who had some unexpected kittens, twice! and we got Oliver :D We weren't meant to have our other one, Yo-Yo, but the chap who was due to have him became very ill and so couldn't. Thank goodness in a way as I really couldn't imagine our house without a tatter around.

Aw, he was lovely. Sorry again for your loss, glad you still have Yo yo to give you TLC though.

My partner agreed to 1 cat and so far I have 3... But I think 4 is the ideal number!!!

Thank you :) We went for years with none, and then 'adopted' hubbys sisters cat, Remedial. Then a couple of years later we had the two boys and Medial sadly had to be put down and the grand old age of about 20 ish. I would like to have another cat again, possibly a rescue one, but not yet. But then again, not sure how long is a good time to wait. The house feels so quiet with just the one. We are so used to two loud thumps on the floor as they jump off the kids beds and come down to see us when we get in. Yo-Yo is a very independent cat. He was the runt of the litter, but is now a huge chunka of a cat. Diet time now, as the naughty boy was eating everything that Ollie wouldn't touch :shameonu: He likes our company, but on his terms. He makes himself go flat to the floor if we try to stroke him when he doesn't want to be stroked. He is not a lap cat at all, whereas Ollie would come and sit on us occasionally. But he can be very affectionate when he wants to be. Typical cat really

I love hearing the names people pick for their pets...remedial has got to go down as one of the top 5 so far!

I don't know what is a good waiting time, I suppose possibly not leaving it too long might mean Yo yo is not too used to ruling the roost but I'm no cat expert! I think I would have to get one immediately!!!

If I could pick my dream job it would be to run a cat & chicken sanctuary!!

What a beautiful puss that little runt has grown in to :lol::lol: , although I always thought you were a cute little one  .

We are in a similar situation to some of you on here. Lost one of our 2 darlings in Sept :cry: . Oscar, the brother, was left behind and has not coped on his own, so we got 7 month old rescue kitty Flora :lol: .

she drives him mental by running around all day and always wanting to play, but he doesn't have time to feel sorry for himself anymore :shameonu::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Mostin - Glad Flora has settled in well. Are they settling down together to sleep yet? I bet it won't be long before you catch them curled up together (photo opportunity!!)

Mogu is beautiful & I'm sure she knows it...she keeps posing with her feet in the air looking very cute!!

Bluekarin, I think Remedial is a great name. Why use the cat flap when you can look pathetic & get someone to open the door for you!!

My cats are very relieved that Mostin has got Flora as well as Oscar cos she kept coming here and terrorising my two, pinning them down until they surrendered for big cuddles ;-)

My hubby says that I just have too much love to give :lol::lol::lol::lol:

So, when ya gonna bring some down here then eh???

Beautiful kitty Gertie :D
