abwsco
Hi.......mmmmm (hangs head in shame) you all did really well over christmas.........errrr well the good news is I weighted in last night ........the bad news is....I put on 7.5lb in 2 weeks the week before xmas I was 0.5lb under target and now I am 1lb over target. My SW consultant said shes never had anyone go from under target straight to over target before. Iam unique I am ok about it now, but have been feeling really upset and silly today...I couldnt cope if all my weight went back on again..my knees and hip are feeling this already. Had a good SWday today but the wine bottle keeps calling me this evening...OH is at band practice.... no one will know.... Miffy, there's a man at my group who does this regularly so don't fret about it. He's been at target for years after having lost 6 stone.
craftyhunnypie
Well if it helps I'm feeling very round today. My stomach looks like a space hopper today - god knows why I just noticed today - but it seriously is a space hopper! I've had a good WW day today .. what do you think? Orange juice & wholemeal toast for brekkie Options drink mid morning ( choc craving) Vitamix zero point soup & small roll for lunch, followed by banana & an apple 2 plain digestive biscuits. Salmon fillet, broccolli & rice, followed by some slices of fresh pineapple Weight watchers lemon bar Is that ok - my propoints are ok. Will have to total them up in a bit. I have 29 daily, plus 49 slush fund. I think I've done ok today. Emma.x ( Mrs Space Hopper).
goodinparts
You're brilliant Emma......I'm not even tracking points til at least the boys' GFs have gone - we keep having nice meals to celebrate their being here & I can't face being the miserable one who says "No" to everything...Miffy & Cathy, I salute your restraint. The wine bottle sang much too loudly for me - but again, once it's just me Monday to Friday I know I can and will do better. We're nearly through all the Christmas food at least - stollen just finished tonight, cheese board decimated...Getting there, I'm sure of it... craftyhunnypie
It's ok to be naughty.. we are all human! On Monday I had a right scoff up - chocolate, cake, wine - the lot!! Even when I'm doing Weight watchers really well, I still have a bit of what I fancy. That way I don't crave & think oh heck I can't have that, because actually I can! Like today I've had my bikkies & a WW cake. I have a sweet tooth & was brought up with puddings. In fact our crisper / salad box in our fridge was full of choccy bikkies - says it all really. Thanks so much mum & dad. That's why I'm always watching my weight. I don't want to be like my parents. Blimey, when I get on my smallholding I'll be a popped space hopper...watch this space! Good luck everyone.. I'm no angel & you also don't have to be. But no harm in trying! Emma.x

Griffin
Well done Snowy I'm actually enjoying being back on track with WW again. I enjoyed my bran flakes this morning and have just had one of their microwave lasagnes for lunch.
Snowy
We did a shop yesterday and I treated my self to several packets of the WW cakes. I can happily bake for the family if I know I have some 'treats' for myself to fall back on! Yes I know what you mean Griffin - it is good to be back on track

Valkyrie
Just before Christmas I hit my 16stone target. Was hoping to either maintain or not put on too much. Having been stuck indoors with the weather followed by the lurgy has seen it go up almost 4lb. Well, there's no more alcohol to tempt me and the goodies have been scoffed so I should be back to normal by the end of the month. Well, maybe after OH's birthday and then with a bit of luck I can get back to my exercise routine. That will give the germs a chance to be thoroughly trounced never to return again. Valkyrie
Well done - terrific pics. Hewooooo Scarlett! Thankfully after my initial panic at the result on my scales now puts me at 16st 2lb, so I think I can live with that. Hopefully I can start my swimming up again next week, but I don't think I'll push it too much at first, although once in the water I do get carried away. Snowy
Miffy you look great! What an inspiration! Hi Scarlet - of course you are welcome! (I'll never forget your Tales of the Unexpected dance at Tashas) Valkyrie - I really need to start swimming again, it's the one exercise I truly love. Need to get this hysterectomy out of the way first, then I can swim to my hearts content!

scarlettohara
Here it is assembled and ready to go - it's huge but very light. My border terriers have had a trial run in the house and were very good [img][/img] with dogs inspecting after their ride Edited January 8, 2011 by Guest
miffy
sorry to ask a daft question but how does it attach to the bike??
scarlettohara
It has a long arm (which you can see in pic) and clip which attaches to the wheel and a safety strap (bit like a horse trailer) as well.
Blackrocksrock
Wow Miffy the pictures are fantastic - you look so different and presume you feel so different - this is my goal for 2011 - it was the same for 2010 but went haywire!
Plum
Well done Miffy. I lost 2st 10 last year but have put a stone on at end of the year. By some unconscious decision I am back to healthy eating and have walked past all tempting things in the supermarket without too much trauma. Hopefully it will be easier next time. You're right though Vaulkyrie exercise is the key. I've started running up the stairs at work but it's killing me .
miffy
Plum thats still a brilliant weight loss.. the rest will soon go, especially with all that running. I'm still doing not much exercise, booked another Pilates course but forgot to go this week.
