Other Info Jai is a Greyhound Gap rehomed puppy! He has only been in his home a few days. On the way back from the walk last night, a group of drunken rowdy teenagers appeared and started to bang bin lids then throw them onto the floor startling him! His owner tried to scoop him up in her arms as he was so terrified and going mad but he squirmed his way free and ran off!

Thanks to all the people out on alert, this little chap has been found tangled up in brambles, freezing despite his coat and very frightened. After 2 nights out on his own.

Oh phew, I'm really pleased he's been found, it would be horrid for him and his owners. I wonder if he has learned his lesson about not wandering too far from home ... I suspect not!!?

Luckily he wasn't wandering, it sounds as if the incident with the youths and dustbins was a deliberate attempt to make him escape from his Mum's arms and run off so they could dog-nap him (anyone with a lurcher will know how careful you have to be regards to this) his condition when found indicates that he didn't spend 2 nights out in the cold; he was kept 'somewhere' and probably released when the posters and word being spread by the kind people looking for him made the wee lad too hot to handle and he was dumped. Luckily he was spotted pretty quickly and rescued.

Isn't it horrid to think that there are people out there wanting to steal pets!! So pleased he was found. He has such a sweet face.

Yay He looks very sweet. We have 2 missing dogs in the area and there is no trace of them anywhere. I beagle and 1 black and tan cross breed. Both owners are frantic poor things.

So glad he was found safe and unharmed. Poor little guy. Just goes to show the power of the internet, made things a little too hot to sell him on.

Oh thank goodness, such a relief.

Dog-napping seems to be so much on the increase now, you never used to hear of it untill a few years ago but now i would never leave my dog anywhere unattended, its so worrying.
