Alis girls
What is it about kids that they think you know everything. This morning ES announces he needs his footie kit. One problem its in washing machine - clean but damp. "Why didnt you tell me?" I asked " I told dad" he says - " when did you last see dad doing the washing?" I replied NEVER - he works full time - I dont so I do it - happy to and I prioritise what needs doing for school , work, sport etc. So we muddle through with a spare pair of socks and I run up to school with dry shorts later. Why why do people assume we know things.
Janepie33
Why why do people assume we know things. OH assumes I know thing that are in his head, even though the words haven't come out of his mouth. Drives me mad!

JillM
We probably do anticipate everbodies needs most of the time, that's why they think we are mind readers!
Eggasperated
My OH always says he has told me even tho I know he hasn't - happens mostly when he's going away for work and I've planned an outing .
Alis girls
Patients are as bad "you know why I'm here dont you" they say almost accusingly "er no - now wheres me crystal ball " patient " but I told the woman at the desk - didnt she tell you" - me in my head - " shes dealt with goodness knows how many people this week - been shouted out at least 20 times , has elderly, babies and young mums bending her ear not to mention members of hypochondriacs annoymous and you expect the poor woman to remember what you are here to see the nurse for - your BP, piles or ingrowing toenail. Why dont you tell me" So gents , kids and anyone else out there - us girls are gorgeus, loving and exceptionally good at what we do - BUT WE ARE NOT MIND READERS - YOU NEED TO TELL US . Ahhhhhhhhh rant over
sage
DH expects me to know what his mother tells him on the phone. He did it last Friday, out of the blue he said " Is it Saturday or Sunday my family are coming?" His Mother had phoned him earlier in the week and arranged for 9 of his family to visit on Sunday, good job he mentioned it Friday or they would have gone home without been fed. When they had left he told me for my birthday I was getting a new crystal ball because the old one was not working as well as it should.
