Well as you may know I ended up spending £35 on a hybrid chicken at the weekend

Here she is - Patricia, and her less pricey friends Lulu and Ann (don't know whether that is Ann with an 'e' or without at the moment)

They are quite a confident bunch much more so than the older girls where when they were new. I think that it is because they were from a large grassy paddock rather than small pens. Fingers crossed for eggs soon (perhaps a non brown one )

She is a Bluebelle. Both her and Trudie (the Amber Star) are real characters. Monica is a really greedy and I am sure could be in the Guinness Book Of Records for speed eating mealworm See has turned into the chicken police with the newbies.

Do you know what mix she is?

She's an Ebay egg. Dad was a Cream Legbar, mum was anyone of a mixed flock of various hybrids. I had six hatch, four were boys, Princess Margarets sister is Anne of Cleeves, they both lay green eggs although Annes are darker, and all six look totally different.
