Charlottechicken
Beautiful dress, very befitting of a duchess! I thought Carol Middleton looked elegant, and liked her choice of designer, that was a nice nod to Diana. The bridesmaids looked lovely, and the page boys. Pippa looked beautiful too, and i thought she did a great job

jess1merlin
I thought she looked beautiful. However I did think Beatrice and Eugenie looked as if they were off to the mad hatters tea party.
Daphne
I agree with everything what a beautiful, classic and understated dress with such a simple veil and stunning tiara. Didn't she look happy and natural I thought Pippa looked so elegant with a long slim silhouette next to the little bridesmaids and pages. I loved Camilla's coat dress with its two tone colouring and pleats and Mrs M looked just right. But those girls' hats I also thought David Beckham looked outstanding as did Zara Phillips. My mother said yesterday she thought the Queen would be in lemon, which was pretty close. Unfortunately she spoilt her oracle prediction by changing her mind and predicting 'pale lime' (whatever that looks like) this morning
Griffin
Georgia was pleased to be right about the colour of the dresses Kate looked stunning, she always does though. I loved the flowers and the flowers in the Abbey too.
Alis girls
Thought Beatrice looked a frump - for a hefty lass she has no dress sense - plenty of bigger women (and I can myself as bigger) know how to dress. The hat was horrible. Didnt see Eugenie.
Charlottechicken
Eugenie looked worse

The hat was horrible. Didnt see Eugenie. But she is really very slim these days No more than a size 12,I would say. Her frock did nothing for her - the colour was vile for a redhead. I could have taken her shopping in reading & picked something better myself (I think she was wearing Vivienne Westwood.....)
Chucky Mama
However I did think Beatrice and Eugenie looked as if they were off to the mad hatters tea party. That's hit the nail on the head, what were they thinking, surely those around them could have advised them better I loved the way that they managed the 2 youngest bridesmaids, taking them out of the way and then slotting them back in at the end. Kate's sister Pippa looked gorgeous.
Cinnamon
Some nice piccys HERE I didn't clock the lovely Zaras outfit on the TV,but doesn't she look sensational?
Chucky Mama
Zara does look lovely. David looked scrummy
Seagazer
Zara does look fab and proves the point that sometimes less is more - something she should have told Beatrice and Eugenie! I thought Lady Sarah Chatto looked lovely too, her dress reminded me of an Audrey Hepburn type dress.
Cinnamon
Yes Seagazer - I was trying to remember her name. It was a grey dress, wasn't it,with elbow length sleeves? David Beckham...Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

whoopsie
Beatrice and Eugenie - Horrific! Adored Kate's dress and all the men in their regalia. In fact the rest of them all looked stunning
The Dogmother
I loved Sarah Chatto's dress too; very much my style... and yes, i do wear frocks I was amazed by the number of over-sized hats - the general guidance is nothing wider than your shoulders, and it's not usually considered good form to wear an enormous brim to an event where you would be blocking the view of those behind *tut *tut* Didn't catch any of the celebs... deliberately ETA, Rosie has just shown me some pix - Joss Stone looked marvellous, VB looked to be wearing stripper shoes Samantha Cameron looked lovely, Ed Miliband's missus could have done with a good ironing, Princess Letizia of Spain is very pretty but looked to have overdone the dieting Pippa's dress was simply stunning Mind you, we're off to a wedding tomorrow and I daresay that people will criticise my frock
The Dogmother
Looking at some photos now, I think I may have got Sarah Chatto confused... who was the woman in the lovely Hepburn-esque dove grey dress with the ballerina neckline.
snowberry
Eugenie looked worse Was it Beatrice with the hat that looked like it could pick up signals from Mars? Awful! However, Catherine was the epitome of understated elegance...William was a bit dashing too! Edited April 29, 2011 by Guest

No you're not confused, it was her. Lady Helen Taylor looked lovely too, a navy dress with red flowers, possibly poppies, printed on the skirt. Mercedes55
I thought Kate's dress was beautiful, although not too keen on the veil, to me it just looked like she had a piece of net curtain over her head Beatrice and Eugenie both looked terrible and whichever one of them was wearing the plain outfit looked like she had an octopus on her head rather than a hat. Tara Palmer Tompkinson wore a hat that drew your eyes to her nose, which I thought she would have wanted to hide, despite having had some plumping up of it last week. Victoria Beckham, well didn't really like her hat or her dress and for pities sake why does that woman never smile! I thought Zara looked wonderful and I think it was Earl Spencer's 3 daughters sitting behind him in the Abbey who also all looked stunningly pretty too. Really enjoyed watching it most of the day, we really know how to put a show on here

Lesley
I loved the dress but don't know why people are likening it to Grace Kelly.......it's very similar to Princess Margaret's which has always been my favourite of the Royal dresses. The Dogmother
David Beckham is getting flack on the internet for wearing his OBE, and wearing it on the wrong side! I saw that too! Pillock I'll have to see if I can see a picture of that lovely grey dress; i only caught a glimpse of it. Is it me, or Did that daft Sally Bercow look like she was about to fall out of the front of her dress? I didn't know where to look
craftyhunnypie
What a pretty bride. Loved the lace on the dress & the neckline. I did think it a little plain for a Princess to be, but very suited to Kate & stunning. Was a bit upset by the smallness of her bouquet. I love flowers & thought her bouquet would have been longer. She was sooooo happy though with hair & makeup all so natural. I loved the arrival of Wills & Harry. They were so gorgeous in their uniforms. It brought tears to my eyes as I realised what a fab country of traditions & uniforms we have. I even cried at the marching guards in their busbys! I thought Harry looked more stunning than Wills to be honest - but I prefer Harry anyway. Queenie I thought was a bit gawdy. It could have been a bit more subtle. I thought Kates parents looked lovely - her dad was so nervous bless him. I was shocked by the state of Elton John - bloated & ill looking, he didn't seem with it much. I absolutely loved how the Beckhams looked - both of them. I thought Cameron's wife didn't know how to conduct herself properly, she seemed like a spare part on arrival inside the Abbey. I'm not religious, but I loved the Hymn Jerusalem. I also liked the choirs song to the couple. I also loved the horse carriages to the palace. I was emotional all the way through. I think it just made you proud to be British today. I especially wept at the RAF flyover. As my father in law ( bless him) was navigator in the RAF & the war. It was all so amazing. I said I wasn't going to watch it, but I was glued to it! When's the next wedding as I really enjoyed this one. Emma.x
