Has anyone seen the new pirates of the carribean..?

Recommended Posts

All 4 of my children have seen it now, separately! They all really enjoyed it and agree it is better than the second.

I don't go to the cinema very often because it's a total waste of money - I fall asleep about 5 minutes into the film!

Its Fab - whole family went to see it on Saturday - I thought it was tons better than the second and enjoyed watching it right upto the end. DD thought it was "predictable" but then she want to be a film director and thinks she could do better :roll: It narly brought a tear to my eye at one point ( I love Orlando Bloom) - has it been announced that there is going to be a number 4 then? There were so many loose ends I thought there might be :D

I didn't think it was as good as the second one. You can't possibly beat the running away from the natives!

TBH I think Kiera Knightly is a truly appalling actress and not anything like up to the standard of some of the others. It was great though, very enjoyable if a bit "darker" than the others.

I went to see it yesterday...

absolute and complete total pile of utter garbage......

(waste of 3 hours of your life)

there's a more coherent plot in Digimon - The Movie (which, until now, was the worst film ever made!) - and it needed about an hour shaving off it!!

still - seems some enjoyed it!

Son & hubby saw it last week, and they enjoyed it. I think son (15) was a little more effusive in his praise than hubby, but they both agreed that it was better than the second, in their opinion of course. I've not seen it and don't want to see it, didn't enjoy the first and after that never had any intention of seeing any of the others.

Each to their own :D:D

I liked the first but was annoyed by the second as it seemed like a set-up for the third, and some bits I found unpleasant-fish face baddies :vom: some of native stuff. Johnny Depp is fantastic though :? Tempted to go anyway, especially if better than the second.

I still have to see 1 & 2

I haven't been to the cinema since 'catch me if you can' getting on for 5 years ago. I don't have enough time to myself to watch a film at home. Maybe when the kids are grown up I'll be able to watch them one after the other.

warning: if you wait for the 2 mins film after the titles you will be there a LONG LONG time

Not too bad, better than 2nd, Johnny Depp 10/10 but I do get fed up with big budget films, they all have the same music :?::? (I'm convinced, listen to the trailers), CGI, huge effects, predictable plot and many sequals to cash in if the first one works.

I still want to see happy feet, dancing penguins are more me
