Puppy! (with pics)

Recommended Posts

We bit the bullet rather unexpectantly on Thursday afternoon, and now have a puppy to add to the menagerie!! :D

OH is getting used to her, I'm knackered with the 5.30 starts!

Suggestions as to how to stop her howling after her Very early morning trip to the loo(once my garden, the bit the hens hadn't dug up!!

She's rather unpretty, but a lovely character,

We are all learning very quickly not to leave our shoes around

I symapthise as we are having the early starts too though we do get some later ones!!! I try to keep it as low key as I can,, I dont speak to her, just let her out of her crate, open the back door and then she goes out. When she is done I usually leave her with her bed in the kitchen and go back to bed for a few hours. Seems to work OK for between 1 and 2 hours and then she is raring to go!!

Pictures are a must...... :D:D

Well, we've been to the vet, who is "interested to see how she turns out":lol:

we think she's spaniel, x lab x staffy x ????

having tsaken her in the shower with me, I can confirm she's black and white, not black and brown!!

She's de wormed, jabbed, nearly house trained, and all in all a pretty good deal, and I am blindly in love with her!

the cats are not.

but we're getting there.

The hens are not. at all. Any suggestions there??

My puppy and chooks just stare at eachother through the WIR, with the occasional bit of conversation!

Our mornings are getting later thankfully as getting him up at 6am means he doesn't go back to sleep! We are working on the house training but he forgets in the evening!

How old is your girlie? We've also started training classes..... it's good for socialising and homework!

I will get the photos up , but after the weekend, as we have my nephews wedding in the field this Saturday, and we're catering ourselves. I dropped the cake off this morning to my sisters at stupid o clock, on my way to work, sort of;I'll post a pic of that maybe, too!

We're having a french style afternoon, and a bangla band for the night!! Breakfast the next day as welll,as there will be campers, all very Glastonbury, even having chemical toilets!!

DS did the pics. I am not responsible! He posted everything!!!

We're now fully housetrained, and sitting, lyiing on command!

We are slowly learning not to try to eat DD, esp her feet :lol:

She (the dog)(and the daughter ) are adorable, and we all love her to bits; should 've done it yrs ago.

Now 2.30 am just for a quick pee(her and me(the dog, not the daughter!!), and 6.30am, so much more human!

Any guesses as to what else Flynn is made of? we know springer spaniel and lab; but............????Look at the leg length....

How did I miss this Freddie

She looks a proper poppet  ................and a stern no as she goes towards the chooks (and any other forbidden things) works wonders with our lot and any visiting furballs.....though we still have difficulties finding a pair of shoes, all our labs like to present us with gifts, usually a shoe

Enjoy her
