Minty_76
Looks lovely! Glad you are all sorted now! I am really excited about my new eglu which is still at my parents after they picked it up for me. Must be patient.......
counturchickens
Fantastic, are you happy with your final choice?
Henergy
Yes I think so. I did love the look of the Flyte So Fancy wooden house & run, but I think the maintenance would have been an issue - plus we would have needed to build a flat patio to put it on (more expense). The cube run has been more forgiving & fitted nicely on our slanted ground with the aid of those super screw in pegs around the skirt. The chickens are spending their first night in it - they refused to go in, so I have placed them in - they seem to be having a little difficulty with the plastic being slippy. One is quite bemused by it & keeps sliding down the ladder rather than using the rungs. Hopefully they'll get used to it soon before I drop the next bombshell of new friends !!!!! Plum
That looks really good they'll be happy there and you've got the bench there for chicken watching
Lisa C
Looks lovely! My lot are still not sure on the ladder...they tend to tentively start to walk down the ladder in the morning, get bored (or hungry) and fly the rest!
Melbourne12
That does look very nice, and very spacious with the netted area. The chickens should be very happy there.
Purplemaniacs
That looks lovely. I like the bench and garden chairs ready for some serious chicken watching. Chrissie
Patricia W
Try putting some of that pipe insulation on the rungs. We did that for our bantams. It only lasted a few months but by then they'd got the hang of it. Looks lovely by the way.
Henergy
They have mastered the ladder - one delicately walks up & down, the other just jumps in and out !!!!!
