Does anybody else wonder or is it just me. DH briefly flipped over to Top Gear and I told him I wasn't surprised Richard Hammond was racing up the hill. I used to watch it whilst ironing when it was on a Sunday lunchtime then it covered more country matters. I watch Countrywise or tracks or whatever it is called on a Sunday morning, but it's not the same. Bring back Countryfile in the morning BBC! I think he had the good sense to see what was coming. The only bit I did like after that was the fellow with the rare breed farm. But that was ages and ages ago. Yes - dumbing down is the best way to describe it. Insulting really. I think he has a lot to say and it's always interestin on his rare breed farm. He is a damn sight more knowlegable than Jimmy know nothing and they keep giving him shows!
