Mollie333
UPDATE: Buttons has died.. I was so excited about getting them. Only had her a week but got really attached. Found her really lethargic today and obviously dying. Left her in a dark place and she drifted away whilst i was out. The kids are in pieces, bless them.. I would like to introduce you to the new hens, which i got a couple of weeks back, they are both Pekin bantams and lovely birds, both laying too. Well until one went broody ... Scarlett, a new Milliefleur Pekin bantam. I got her from a friend, as she had just lost her partner so was lonely. She has gone broody and is sat on 5 eggs. Grace, another Pekin. She is pure black with a beetle green and purple sheen. She is a bit younger than Scarlett and has just come into lay, she's from 'Simon Windle' stock, a lovely girl. Currently moulting, much nicer in person! I also got these two pretty little things brought to me yesterday, one's 13 wks and the other no older than 8 wks! Can you believe i swapped them for eggs. Much more chocolate coloured in the flesh. Chocolate Frizzle Pekin, so sweet. Not named yet. And a tiny little chocolate Pekin bantam, again, not named. Chortle Chook
Your new girls are lovely - all of them, smooth and frizzle. By the way, is your signature up to date? If so then you have 13 hens - unlucky number - need to get some more Perhaps those eggs will hatch.
