surfer_chicken
Don't ask me how I found this, because I don't really know, but I thought I should share it so you could enjoy it too. Bird Pants: http://www.birdwearonline.com/index.html The site seems to be geared towards pigeon fanciers, but it's advertised as chicken friendly. I don't think I'll be ordering one anytime soon. You can also add a lead to your bird pants for only $5! I don't think my girls would be very happy with that.

LolaLayla
You would need to change them a lot YS always wanted to get hats for them to wear so I had better not let him see this It will be designer chicken wear next....instead of having a little dog in a bag you could take a chicken out with you dressed in its fancy pants etc....sorry slight madness has set in

Chortle Chook
http://19sunset.wordpress.com/2011/05/17/notoriously-stupid-chicken-edition/ P I've seen it all now. Poor little silkie. Next thing will be a way of strapping a potty to your child's botty
The Dogmother
This came up a while ago; a woman in America who put a nappy on her silkie so that she could keep it indoors, she even took it in her swimming pool with her. I really don't understand the need to treat them like indoor pets.
surfer_chicken
This came up a while ago; a woman in America who put a nappy on her silkie so that she could keep it indoors, she even took it in her swimming pool with her. I really don't understand the need to treat them like indoor pets. I know what you mean. Sure, my girls get the same love attention as any other person would treat their pet cat etc. but they're happier outside where they're meant to be (and I'm happier with them outside and not having to buy chicken nappies!), there's no need to bring them inside. Nevermind the swimming pool
jimnpaula
The only time I've ever considered doing something like this was when Topaz was ill and I brought her indoors. She was rather 'squirty', thankfully she didn't want to walk around much. P
LolaLayla
I don't bring the girls in either. They poo so much it would be awful. I would also worry that they may drop mites etc that could cause a problem There is a story behind this worry. Years ago, before chickens, YS was playing in the garden with an old nest which he brought into the house. Not long after I started getting flea bites then the children did too. I was hysterical, hoovering and spraying insecticide like a maniac to get rid of the fleas (we had no pets). Eventually I managed to catch one and it was sent away to find out what sort of flea it was. We were told it was a bird flea so I can only think it came from the nest. They soon were killed but it horrified me to think we were dealing with fleas and I don't want to have to do that again

jennym
Do you reckon Tori Spelling has a chicken bottom-washer on staff? Surely it needs to be done, erm, regularly? I just can't see her doing it herself. Bizarre.
Alis girls
The poor hen in the white outfit with a zip looks fairly hacked off. Some one should put one on this silly womans face - preferably a full one
