I have ordered one from here and a coat for the dog as well Both were in the sale so I am hoping they will be nice. A couple of years ago I bought one of their coats in the sale. It was padded, and warm, and came with a detachable fur lined hood. It has an assortment of lined pockets,minside and out. It has toggley things so I can adjust it to be more or less snug around my waist and more or less snug at the bottom. When I got it, I thought it would be far to big and cumbersome to wear - the sort of coat that you walk a few yards and then find it's too hot. As soon as we get this sort of freezing weather it comes out - superb for dog walking and loads of pockets. Have bought plenty from them, as has hubby. All good quality. Their customer service is fab - you can return any item, at any time, for any reason to them and they will refund with no quibble. Believe it or not, they get returns from parents whose kids have outgrown their clothes - and they refund! That's their policy and they stick to it. Blackrocksrock Posted February 7, 2012 Share Posted February 7, 2012 Their snow trekkers are fantastic - I just bought 2 pairs - reduced of course and the second pair was an extra 20 per cent off weekend couple of weeks ago - no slipping in them at all!. Wonderful to walk the dogs in. I bought 2 fleece jumpers in the sale - I tend to buy stuff in the sale - their stuff is very very good!. As i am under 5foot I know I can get clothing to fit especially on trousers instead of taking up many inches of wasted cloth. I also like their swimwear with little skirts, helps with the lumps and bumps a bit......they have sent me the wrong stuff twice though- although customer services have sorted well. Really pleased with mine and stupidly wore it to walk the dog instead of my old tatty one as every dog in the park decided to jump up at me. Covered in mud and goodness knows what else as the park seemed to be covered with dog poop. Thank goodness it is machine washable. I would definitely order from them again. One useful facility is that if you phone them they will give you the actual measurements of items eg T-shirt chest size and length in say S,M & L - you can then measure a T-shirt that you already have and like the fit, and then order the appropriate size from Lands End. Everything is good quality, and their guarantee is really good. I had a pair of shoes from them with an elasticated toggle, and the elastic snapped some 2 years after having them. They exchanged them staright away, no questions, and I had a lovely new pair. i would really recommend them for long lasting and sensibly cut clothes!
