My thoughts are that that money could be spent on respite for families for children and familes of young children with disibilities or for hospice care. I would admire Posh, Baby, et al if they donated all profits to a really worthy charity. I would think something like the NSPCC would be appropriate, given that most of them now have kids, or one of the baby funds like Tommys. Posh....what a shallow life she leads, and what she deems as important..that pout and her ever decreasing waistline.... Not the most fulfilling existence is it. I wouldn't want her in my reunion. She represents all that is wrong in the world and I couldn't be associated with that. I won't be supporting them, although I do think Mel C and Emma are particularly well rounded and grounded. She can't sing, can't dance and obviously hasn't figured out how to open the fridge door. She's loves the media attention but hasn't realised that we can't actually see her anymore. I wish these dim witted size zeros would stop encouraging young girls to have eating disorders and get some pies down thier necks and drink loads of Guinness. They saw how Take That's comeback was received and thought......ooh......we'll have some more of that! Difference is....Take That can sing.....sort of....and their female fans have remained loyal. Anyone who was a Spice Girls fan 10 years ago will be cringing now I should think! Are they going to attract a new generation of fans? They are a bit long in the tooth frankly.......and they can't sing ( well Emma and Gerry's voices are OKish....just.... Sporty's voice is as flat as a pancake and she is dog rough, as is Scary.) Looney Posted June 23, 2007 Share Posted June 23, 2007 I suppose the Spice Girls were a MASSIVE success and influence for many years and a lot of people grew up with them so a lot of their songs will bring back memories for people of where they were at the time, what they were doing etc. It is really easy to criticise them getting back together and getting paid mega bucks for doing so but perhaps more so if they weren't part of your youth....? She's self obsessed with her appearance and she doesnt even look nice now (she looked much better years ago with a better figure, natural cleavage and nice natural hair). She is pure skin and bone and her constant pouting does my head in. Her and David Beckham derseve each other....always playing up to the media (because they have to - to keep a high profile and keep the $$$$ rolling in), but I suppose they have to keep earning to keep them in the lavish lifestyle they live in.
