Helloooooo!! Can't quite believe it's been 18 months since I was last on here, but apparantly it has been. Lots has happened at Chez Chooks since my last visit, including lots and lots of studying (Uni course, doing accounting. Bookkeeping qualifications under my belt already, first accounting exam in a fortnight), building a fledgling business, slightly dodgy end to my marriage, and lots more besides.

 

Lovely to see lots of familiar faces are still around, and so many new names to get to know.

The usual forum netiquette is to ask what I've missed during my absence, but given that my usual absences were down to holidays or childbirth, the maximum missed was about a fortnight. I'll refrain from asking for a full rundown of forum events over the last couple of years!

Hmmm, your return doesn't happen to coincide with revision time now does it? Maybe a touch of distraction activity? Like when I used to clean out my wardrobe, arrange books alphabetically...well, do anything other than study!!

Hahaa! Indeed! 13 days to my final Financial Accounting exam, and my brain is fried. All of a sudden, even the ironing, or cleaning out the cat litter seems preferable to studying the ethics of accounting or the accounting laws. So many facts and law cases to be remembered for quoting during the exam. I far prefer the number crunching, than the essay writing. Never mind, I think I'm maintaining a pretty good balance now between revising and relaxing, although my results come June time will testify to whether I got the balance right!
