The Dogmother
we have a similar gap under the bathroom door and one of my cats will lie on the floor outside the bathroom and fish under the door with his paw, there's nothing there for him to play with; he just wants me to go downstairs in the morning and feed him! bluekarin
Our Gizmo does that too (paw under the bathroom door). I sometimes put a piece of paper down so she attacks it All she wants is to be let in so she can sit in the bath and have 'fresh' water

superkitty
That's hilarious - the 'booiiiing!' noise made me laugh out loud
Reikiranf
My cat Naboo meows outside the door and if that doesn't work he stands up and scratches the door
Plum
Lovely sound in the night - nails on wood Mine pull out the drawers under the bed climb inside and then play games in the bed. Wish OH would shut the door when he gets out to loo in middle of the night
dancing cloud
I know it would be unsporting, but I can't help thinking I would either move the door stop to where the little furry monster couldn't reach it or give up the unequal struggle and leave the door open ! But then I am very fond of a good night's sleep
Lavenders_Blue
I can't help thinking it was weird that the door stop was fixed onto the door and not the wall... That's certainly where I'd move it to if I had a cat that insisted on boing-ing it at 5am!
millie
i get paws under the covers....the nails then ping out either into my feet or my bottom, is my usual reaction at that time in the morning, just so he can have his early morning feed, which is anywhere between 3-5am!! If i dont play his "game" i will get rodents or birds brought in Ive tried feeding him last thing at night, ignoring him, locking him in...result for this is anything on surfaces ends up on the floor, curtains climbed, wall paper peeled etc so ive found its best to just remember im his staff and get on with it

Alis girls
Would be a ginger cat wouldnt it - we have one always very naughty. That door stop would be removed pronto and binned followed by kitty - only joking.
Sue_F
I couldn't stand that at 5am!!! If it were mine, it would be changed pretty quickly. My cousins' cat is so fat it wouldn't be able to get it's paw though the door!!! Katy

If my cats are disruptive at night (they aren't generally) then they get put outside PDQ.... they soon learn
