Autumn Liz
I'm excited too, as my house arrived this morning, but I need to wait another week yet till I can collect my girls. Feeling very impatient. It's like having the nursery ready and waiting for baby to arrive! Liz x
Duncan08
Well my trio has turned into a quartet, 4 pekins mixed colours, the youngest, partridge coloured are only four weeks and I don't want them until they are 8 weeks. So have pre-ordered 4 to pick up in 4 weeks. Had a lovely walk around the pens, I think my next big girls will be Barnevelder (is that how you spell it?) beautiful ladies with a dark egg. But I will wait until next year. Will need a hybrid to go with it to keep up the eggs in winter. So excited, did you pick yours up, any pictures yet? Gloss-Hen
They're names are Sherlock ( goldlaced) and Lola ( chamois ). They are so funny you can just pick them up and they don't run away ( probably due to their funky hair)

Gloss-Hen
Thank you, Lola is a very cheeky chook as he got out EIGHT times yesterday so we've resorted to putting orange building fence on the inside of there original fence
Chortle Chook
Oh you did choose well. I love Polands. They may be a bit more work when it's raining (I dry their 'hair' so they don't go to bed with wet heads) but they are such nice critters aren't they? Mine talk all the time and are just so friendly.
