There is something very strange happening here today, I am not at work and the sun is shining, there is a light breeze and it is lovely and warm

 

But I mustn't panic because normality with return tomorrow with dark clouds and heavy rain.

Hot and sunny with clear skies first thing. It's now 22deg in the shade and hazy again. No breeze and rather warm in the sun... I have my shorts on!

It's ok normality is being returned, it is clouding over rapidly, but still warm.

DD, baby and I went to the annual cricket match last night, our village v neighborouring village.

 

When we arrived at 6 it was warm and muggy, suddenly a breeze got up from no where and the temperature dropped, we were all cold, luckily as is always the case with a young baby she had plenty of additional clothes to wear

Went for a lovely cool walk with the dogs yesterday evening... the walk ended at a pub; can't imagine how that happened

 

Cooler today, a brisk breeze and plenty of hazy cloud. We're due sharp showers and thunder today so my shorts are back in the drawer. For the first time is ages, it is warmer in my office than outside

It stayed sunny and very warm till late evening yesterday. Mowed everywhere to within an inch of it's life, thinking that it'll be a while before it's dry enough again. Kept awake all night by infuriating hay fever... my normally sleep inducing antihistamine didn't touch it

 

Cloudy this morning and waiting for the deluge... it'd better come now or the lawn is going to look like a moonscape

A really beautiful day yesterday but it is overcast today

We had 3 mm of rain last night, but none today really and it has been very muggy, we have a sunny evening though.

The haze from earlier turned into muggy drizzle for a couple of hours this afternoon, but had stopped by 4pm. Dull, hazy and muggy out there again now; we could do with a really good storm.

It has cleared a bit out there, just got in from half an hour's gardening after the housework; it's a lovely evening with swallows screeling about after the bugs.

Rained all day since 11am.

Not as heavy as predicted and petered out by early evening. No sunshine for us today but a drier day in prospect tomorrow.

Same here Liz - I drove in to work with my headlights on this morning the drizzle seems to have stopped though and the haze looks a bit lighter.....

The swallows are flying low so the pressure must be dropping.

Bright and sunny at 5am this morning, drove up to Derby in lashing rain, it waited until the end of Rosie's triathlon to stop and then rained all the way home again. Cool, very windy here with heavy showers.
