Mine aren't ladylike at all. They shout at the top of their lungs and I'm rather glad I don't speak 'chicken'. I've supplied them with additional nest boxes now and some of the noise has died down - phew. I was getting worried about the neighbours

I would have thought you were looking for hens more than eggs. Your girls are so sweet I love seeing their antics on here.

 

My big girls do not do sharing, ever. No one else is allowed in till Lisa-Maire has been or at least had a shuffle about for half an hour to decide if she's going to do an egg today or not.
