Angie
My DD who was so looking forward to the Cleveland Show , being horse mad and to show pony and mother and foal is very disappointed that the Show has been cancelled due to the weather conditions. My little GD was eager to show the foal too and i feel sad for them. Any other county shows cancelled due to the rain ? I know these shows boost the income of many of our country businesses and it must be hard on them for the lost revenue.
Redwing
Loads have been cancelled sadly the most notable being the North Yorkshire Show I show my chickens and have only been affected by one cancellation but my western and northern friends have missed six or seven shows each so far It's got so bad in the showjumping world that there is now a web page listing all the cancelled shows
Purplemaniacs
The Junior National Outdoor Archery Championhips have been cancelled at the National Sports Cente Lilleshall. I have been working hard for months to organise the entries, very disappointed and feel for the juniors who have missed out, some will be too old next year to take part. The National Sports Centre cancelled all outdoor activities on the site this weekend due to the weather and its affects on the grounds. I am a bit lost don't know what to do with myself now! I feel for those of you who have prepared for shows which have been cancelled too. Chrissie

CatieB
Yes our local show was cancelled too. (Pymoor, Cambridgeshire) We love it and its probably our favourite event of the year. To add to our misery it was the last ever show too so has now gone out on a low and we cant say goodbye

Space Chick
Oh dear, I stepped into a thread I wasn't expecting I thought this was an American network cancelling TV shows thread... I was about to go into a rant about all the shows I loved that were cancelled. I discover it is a different Cleveland show and not the popular Family Guy spin off series

The Dogmother
Loads of the game fairs are cancelled, especially in Scotland and Yorkshire where the flooding is worst. We were going to go the Henley Traditional Boat rally at the weekend but that's cancelled because the river is in spate. We're on flood warning yet again but nowhere near as bad as friends in Yorkshire.

Groovychook
Our local show has been cancelled too. The ground has been too wet to cut the field At least one of our neighbouring towns has cancelled theirs as well.

The Dogmother
Yes, I'm hoping that the Warks and West Mids will be able to go ahead on August Bank holiday weekend. Apparently the weather is going to improve after today, I hope it does as I've promised my folks that we'll take them if we are going. I might even enter the hooonds in one of the lurcher shows, will you be doing any shows with your dogs Karen?

I'll miss the hospitality tents and Dylan showing off. Is that the one at Belvoir Castle? I was half thinking of going, but we are going to be away at the weekend (or possibly not as we are meant to be camping ) so don't think I would have been able to make it anyway. What a shame it has been cancelled
