L_B, you want to try working in my office - the men leave the door open all the time I had on 4 layers, 2 pairs of socks (one fo them thermal) and sheepskin lined boots... still wasn't warm! Sounds.... invigorating! I don't usually feel the cold too badly, as long as I am well wrapped up and out of the wind especially.
