I am having a bit of bother with my (well Cathy's) Laptop.

 

Somebody spilt a few drops of beer on it last night

 

Som of th kys stoppd working......QUit annoyin rally.

I took the dodgy kys off and clanned th stickynss up. And they seemedddddddddd tobe working ok until i put the bittons beck an.

 

I thought i was going madder unitil I realised I had put them back on in the wrong places.

 

and now they are doing it again! iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.

 

Oh dear.

 

I think i might have to try again! especially the 'I' iiiiiiii key iiiiiiiiiii

the keys that were not working yesterday now are and some new ones have stopped!

the key between h and k is not having it either!

 

I am starting to think that its not down to a couple of drips off my glass.

It really wasn't a big spill,( i don't waste beer) oh look jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj is working again,still no sign of 'eight' though

time for a refurb for the keeboard i think. the damage is below the kees i reckon, has anee one noticed y is plain up

 

it is fun trien to write with onli half the alphabet! like texting

Its a laptop Fred, so a bigger problem than that, I think it is the link from the keboard to the PC cos the touch pad is a bit dodgi too.

 

I'm not going to investigate ani further. Technician required!

I have a sony vaio laptop also, and you can get a new keyboard for them, but if you have insurance, you might be able to get a new laptop

I have managed to get most of the keys working again apart from number eight!

 

I think until we can get it fixed I might just get a cheap usb keyboard and use that. Presumably that would work?

 

It's a good job that none of my passwords contain the forbidden number!
