Omlet cube and run

OOooooooo, I'm getting cross now.

My ebay eglu fell through as some of you may know.

I ordered a brand new one from omlet which was meant to come on Friday but couldn't because of a problem in despatch so it was meant to come today.

We have waited all day and some finally arrived at 5.50 but NO EGLU !!!!!!!!!!!

 

I have my free gift and the extra bars I ordered and nothing else.

Myrtle and Melody are driving me mad and I still have no eglu and still can't seperate them.

I ordered a purple one to contrast with my lilac cube.

 

I've got no idea when it will come now.

And hubby will have to sort them out for me first thing, because I have to go to work.

I think I deserve some free postage now really or something else.

My eglu arrived this morning

Myrtle and Melody finally have their own house and play area and at last my babies can play in peace.

Mryrtle and Melody don't seem too impressed with the new set up so far.

And bedtime will be interesting.

 

Omlet apologised for the delay and refunded my postage so I am pleased about that - I can put it towards some other chickeny goodies instead.

 

I love the purple - it goes very well with the lilac. If it stops raining I will take some pictures so you can see what we've done.

Bedtime was a success

Myrtle and Melody found the way up the ladder and into the eglu by themselves. Clever girls

 

It is clever, I think, how they knew where to go even though it was totally different to where they woke up this morning.

 

Now I just need to sort out Suzie who is broody again

Wow that looks amazing. I have just bought extension panels to my wooden WIR but it hundreds of pounds later and it still only works out as 6m square. I guess thats 6 big birds tops. Why is it never big enough??
