The Dogmother
The prevalence of forward-facing-cameras in most Russian vehicles (lots of accidents there) makes enlightening viewing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmKKaf2F6uk&feature=youtu.be Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Geoid
Wow, that was so nice to watch, can't imagine that happening in the UK. I can. The video at 4:37 is from the UK. There are still nice people in this country!
Ain't Nobody Here
Is it? That's good . Not sure why it's called a Russian video then .

Princess Leia
The music is by The Cinematic Orchestra - one of OH's favourites - from the soundtrack of a stunning nature film about flamingos called "The Crimson Wing". Lovely piece... here's the original film clip
Ziggy
There is lots of kindness in this world, both here and abroad. I remember a trip in Boston once, when there was snow and a massive wind storm, I tried to go for a walk with my then toddler and baby, and gave up as it felt dangerous. But I saw people go to and hold total strangers to help them cross windy roads. When things go wrong with nature people pull together. We see it here in the UK a lot... You know, when it snows a bit and all the cars get stuck? There is usually someone to come and help push. When there are floods (and we get our fair share of it in oxfordshire), people talk and help each other. This is a nice video... My darker side wonders whether its a bit 'planned' and not quite so genuine, but i hope its not, and even if it was, who cares, those things happen
The Dogmother
Our road has a wonderful community atmosphere, everyone pulls together to help out. We're currently raising funds for a neighbour's disabled son.
Purplemaniacs
Since our burglary last week people have been so kind. I was very touched by the kindness of the police lady who answered my 999 call she was so kind, patient and understanding, as you can imagine I was in a bit of a state to put it mildly. Chickendoodle
I watched a very moving documentary a few years ago about the victims of the 7/7 bombing and one comment has remained with me. A woman who had been badly injured was talking about the amazing kindness and selfless caring that came from the normally buttoned up underground passengers. She said (and forgive me if this is not an exact quote) - "I now know that in the darkness there will always be someone to hold my hand" Says it all really
