jsbates65
I let the girls follow me inside after a dust bath. . .DANG. . .they get lots of dirt in their feathers. As soon as they walked inside the kitchen door they both shook and there was a pile of dirt. I had no idea they could hold so much dirt in their feathers!! arowland17
yes I've seen the dust cloud, ours dust bath in a flowerbed (messiest thing I've ever seen couldn't believe it the 1st time they did it!) and Nugget walked the whole length of the garden yesterday after dust bathing and onto the patio where she decided to shake her dust cloud!! Laura & CTB
They usually do it when I've got a glass of wine out on the patio table

plinksta
I thought I'd treat the girls to some sand for their dustbath area. Bought a bag of Tesco playsand and can now report that despite them free-ranging, having oyster grit and ground eggshells available they have chosen to eat the sand and have now scoffed the full bag!
