patsylabrador Posted July 19, 2014 Share Posted July 19, 2014 My very lovely neighbour who I will miss dreadfully is moving today and they have one of those big wooden swing/slide structures to get to the front of their house. It can't be dismantled. They have a low wooden fence between them and their other neighbour who has a double gate to the road. They asked if they could hook it over the fence and through, she just said no and shut the door on them. So they and OH and MS have had to lift and carry it over their garage to the front. Hard work, especially in this hot, humid weather. I couldn't be so mean to anyone especially my neighbour who is such a nice person. gavclojak Posted July 19, 2014 Share Posted July 19, 2014 My next door neighbour, who hasn't been there long is Russian and doesn't speak English very well but still let furniture village take my sofa through her garden and over a six foot fence to go through my back door. When I asked her if it was OK she just said no problem, she left her gate unlocked, moved her car off the drive and let us get on with it....some bigots where I live comment that they do not work,have a new car etc... but I am quick to remind said neighbours they have two severely disabled children....there but for the grace of god!!!
