I can't copy any of the image codes from photo bucket anymore on my iPad. I'm really struggling to highlight the whole link and once I have the copy option disappears.

 

I think it's since I upgraded to iOS 8.1

 

Has anyone else had the same problem and more importantly has anyone else sorted it out?

I've given up. If anyone wants to see my images they can look at my flikr account. When will omlet update the site to the 21st century?

Are you using the Photobucket app? I couldn't do it yesterday, trying to do it via the website. As soon as I dowloaded the App, it worked.

And me, since we upgraded the iPad we've had loads of glitches! I just take the pictures with the ipad, upload them, then use the desktop one to actually put them on the forum

Someone on a different forum was complaining about the same thing - the new OS had completely sent their ipad mad.... I think they uninstalled it and reverted to the previous version.

My moms iPad is very slow since the update, so I'm delaying the update...

iOS7 killed the cellular connection of my first iPad, so I'm rather cautious about any major updates.

You probably will need to update at one point in the future. Apps will stop working in iOS7 etc.

There's no way ios8 is coming near my iPad3, far too many issues and reports of slow down. Of course there is the conspiracy theory that it's deliberate to encourage you to upgrade....

iOS 7 really killed my old iPad... And the only response from Apple: you must have dropped it.

After calling them numerous time I finally got someone who told me that the update was asking more from my iPad than it could handle. Because it was older. The only solution was to remove the update again, but by then it wasn't possible to do that anymore. I was forced to buy a new one, because of a stupid update. And the very unhelpful and unfriendly telephone people just said: well you accepted the terms and conditions and you didn't have to do the update...

 

I'm a longtime fan of Apple. Never used a pc in my life at home. Always had macs and had one of the first iPods (and still have). But the last few years I'm not nearly as impressed as I used to be...

That's why I prefer Android systems - I only have an ipad because it was a present.

My iPad is slower and more glitchy since the update too and some of the updated apps don't work very well either, like words with friends, I still use the old version most of the time.

 

Interesting thought about them trying to get us to buy new, nice Idea if money is no object.
