i love mulled wine and stock up at christmas and drink it over the year, i dont think it can go off. i bought some non alcoholic mulled wine from blickling hall christmas fair for MIL last year but didnt use it so i will serve it this year as the date is jan 08.

i think tesco and sainsburys sometimes have it all year.

it is really cold i have a huge big jumper on because i am putting the run together and its pretty windy at the moment and very wet. i was up alot with my little girl last night and it was cold in the house. i will be putting the heating on tonight just to get some clothes dry.

Flipping freezing here yesterday :(

Our central heating has been on more than off this summer. we have used loads of oil

Saturdays max temperature was 6oc  We have only had a few warmish days here for months, I could probably count them on one hand.

My parents are here at the moment and I had warned them to bring warm clothes (meaning winter clothes) they didn't heed my warning

This summer has been pants and I am dreading the dark winter days up here

Absolutely freezing here. Dull and damp

We have just moved into brand new offices, they are very nice but the air con is freezing

Just been out to get some soup and hot chocolate to help me stay warm. I am not really a person that feels the cold so it must be bad

They have told us we will have to wait a year for the building to 'settle down' before they do anything about it :?

At least I haven't got to dig out my winter woollies, as I never put them away :(

:? Put the boys winter duvets back on the beds today - managed to get the summer quilts washed and on the line - but cloudy most of the day  . Admit to eyeing up the blackberries and dreaming of crumbles for pud :oops::( . Is summer really gone now :?: .

Mrs Snowy must be in need of a warmer - as I put mustard in a shell, to stop her eating Ebony's eggs - and she scoffed the lot :evil:

I have heaps of washing to do, but as its supposed to get nicer this weekend I am trying to hold out so I can get it line dried.

I refuse to have dripping washing around the house in August

I have done all the tumble dryable stuff today, but there is a big pile still left that I can't tumble :roll::roll:

Roll on September 8)
