Egluntyne
Sunny & very warm here, I have washed my quilted bedspread & it drying wonderfully on the line No hammock allowed now, we have wasps in one of the trees we use to hang it from and the way my boys push each other in it to swing the tree will vibrate like the clappers & disturb the wasps. You can get powder to kill the wasps off....or a chap from the council will come out for about £40.00 With children around it might be a good idea to get rid. Louise
i wish I knew where my wasps nest is as I have been stung on the foot last week and I have a nasty one on my arm today which I got last night No idea where they are coming from other than which window they come in
The Dogmother
I hate wasps too Louise. If it's cooler up there now, they may be dozier than they are here and more inclined to be bad tempered and sting.

A chap from the council is coming out on Tuesday, they will assess & give advice free, & charge £40 for removal. In the meantime I will get a wasp trap. Looney
It's STILL raining here and windy and raining and raining and raining and raining - I can't remember the last time I saw blue sky or sun......IT'S NOT FAIR [i feel better now! ]
Jules.
I have just been out & watered our garden for the first time using our hosepipe since we had the outside tap fitted- TWO months ago. It's not been needed since it was fitted. I had fun using it, blasting away all the poo where the chooks had been free ranging as they do at the bottom of the garden. I've got my Omlet netting now & it's been up 24 hours & I've not had sight nor sound of chooks escaping where they should not go
The Dogmother
We've had a glorious day here today - balmy and sunny most of the day, even got some washing dried outside. London, on the other hand, has had torrential rain!

Went to dinner at cafe rouge wearing my pink omlet t-shirt, with matching crocs and not forgetting my BHWT fleece OH was not impressed ). Anyway it was a little chilli on the narrow boat Glad to be back in our warm home

The Dogmother
Can't undrestand why men are so embarrassed to be seen with us! Phil rang me early the other evening and asked if I wanted to go for a quick drink, I said that I was dirty from gardening and didn't fancy changing... that's ok - come as you are, he said........ the beggar then proceeded to turn up at my place looking exceedingly tasty and scoffed at me going out in dirty jeans, omlet t shirt and crocs. I couldn't have cared less and was just thankful that I didn't have to get changed

Ooooo fantastic sale on in Fat Face in Henley 50% off everything or more
Cinnamon
I used to work at The Angel - I served cream teas on the decking bit when I was 14. It always has been horribly expensive I am afraid,& to be honest there are lots of nicer places to eat in town You see a fair few Crocs in Henley, but it could have been me as I am in Henley almost every day (they would have been pink) Yes, great sale in Fat Face. I got Devon a dress she has been after for about £20, down from £
