Sunny & very warm here, I have washed my quilted bedspread & it drying wonderfully on the line :D

No hammock allowed now, we have wasps in one of the trees we use to hang it from  and the way my boys push each other in it to swing the tree will vibrate like the clappers & disturb the wasps.

You can get powder to kill the wasps off....or a chap from the council will come out for about £40.00

With children around it might be a good idea to get rid.

A chap from the council is coming out on Tuesday, they will assess & give advice free, & charge £40 for removal. In the meantime I will get a wasp trap.

I have just been out & watered our garden for the first time using our hosepipe since we had the outside tap fitted- TWO months ago. It's not been needed since it was fitted.

I had fun using it, blasting away all the poo where the chooks had been free ranging as they do at the bottom of the garden. I've got my Omlet netting now & it's been up 24 hours & I've not had sight nor sound of chooks escaping where they should not go :D

Can't undrestand why men are so embarrassed to be seen with us!

Phil rang me early the other evening and asked if I wanted to go for a quick drink, I said that I was dirty from gardening and didn't fancy changing... that's ok - come as you are, he said........ the beggar then proceeded to turn up at my place looking exceedingly tasty and scoffed at me going out in dirty jeans, omlet t shirt and crocs. I couldn't have cared less and was just thankful that I didn't have to get changed :lol:

I reckon if we had passed on the street I would have recognised you (or at least asked if you were an Omleteer)

Hope you had a lovely time 8):P

:lol::lol: I used to work at The Angel - I served cream teas on the decking bit when I was 14.

It always has been horribly expensive I am afraid,& to be honest there are lots of nicer places to eat in town :?

You see a fair few Crocs in Henley, but it could have been me as I am in Henley almost every day (they would have been pink)

Yes, great sale in Fat Face. I got Devon a dress she has been after for about £20, down from £50 8)
