Guest
Oh I love my Birkenstocks, I have 10 pairs! I also love my Crocs, they are better for wearing around the garden and can make a change when I go out. The comfort is nice with the sole feeling soft and flexing as you walk. I do find though that when my feet get sweaty they make a squeaking noise which is quite annoying. The look grew on me, when I saw them a year ago I hated them. I wouldn't swap my Birkenstocks for Crocs but I do enjoy wearing them and I love the funky colours.
BeckyBoo
L, I came VERY late to Crocs, (mid July!) and by default too - OH bought a pair for his mother for her birthday and they were the wrong size. OH has subsequently FAILED to change them, I got fed up with them gathering dust and so tried them on. Sadly they are BRIGHT yellow but I've hardly taken them off since. They are really really comfy. I might even buy a pair I'm not ashamed to be seen out in! Mrs B
moochoo
They are fantastic, lightweight, completely washable and soooo comfortable. They're very good for people with painful feet and also improve your posture. Above all they come in loads of great colours and I get stopped frequently to ask about mine so they must be quite fashionable too Go on take the risk and buy some. Cate in NZ
I love my crocs So much so that this morning on my way to work I was waiting at a t-junction when a lady crossed the road right in front of me and all that I noticed was her crocs in a fabulous mink brown kind of colour. I was so tempted to wind down the window and ask her if they were real crocs and where she got them from because I've not seen that colour before............. and now I want some
Guest
I bought some grape ones in NY, I'd seen the grape colour posted on here but when I saw them I had to have them. I wore them in England yesterday for the first time and a lady said "I love your crocs".

Egluntyne
I was a late convert...and I love 'em. No rude noises from mine!
ubereglu
I got my first pair of crocs yesterday...I haven't stopped wearing them. They're really comfy and when you go outside and walk in them your feet feel refreshed as air blows through the holes. I got hold of Navy ones, I originally wanted lavender/sea foam/purple ones, but that would have meant I would have to have ordered online, (well got my sister too, but she couldn't be bothered). In the end I got them from Millets! I'm already tempted to get another pair! Mum wants a red pair, we might see some for her when we go shopping next week... lisa33
I think I must be the only person on the whole forum who cannot bear Crocs (Sorry All) My in laws keep threatening to buy them cos they thought I would love them. I keep sending them links to the Crocs Are Rubbish website.

Jules.
i love mine- I can walk all around Chester zoo all day & have wonderful ache-free legs (which cannot be said for the non-croc wearers who went with me).
Basset
Hi I love my Crocs - they are soooooo comfortable, even better than bare feet! I find them even more comfortable than my Birkenstocks, although my Birkenstocks make me feel smarter. The only prob I find with the Birks is that they get so dirty on the insole and are really difficult to keep clean.
pinkkat
I must have mutant feet - Birkenstocks make a farting sound from the arch of my foot, and no Crocs fit me! What do we think of Crocs with socks?
chelsea
I love Birkenstocks, I have several pairs of them and 1 pair of Crocs. Laura & CTB
Crocs are sooo comfy I have one pair for the chicken run/garden one pair for indoors one pair for going to the hot tub and back (all of five paces ) and one pair I haven't really worn yet (they were for summer )
Cinnamon
What do we think of Crocs with socks? I think thats OK, so long as you are wearing long jeans so you can't see the sock. I have worn mine with socks in the spring & autumn (OK, & summer too this year) when its been a bit chilly, & if you have really long jeans you can't tell I also only wear my Crocs clog style, with the heel strap bit pulled forward.
