Margot1
We have had our fair share of chicken antics politics whatever you like to call it But never this behaviour from our speckled sussex hen lol She likes to send her two sisters to bed every night to roost in the hen house while accompanying them for a short while before making a beeline for the doorstep to be let into the kitchen to jump into her basket for the overnight stay! We have a wicker cat basket filled with straw and she loves it in there quite happy alone An independent chook for sure This has been going on for a few weeks and the hen house is spotless and totally mite free... Luvachicken
I was expecting to see a photo of a breed I hadn't heard of She sounds like a real sweetie especially to make sure the others are tucked up safe before she heads off to her other bed
