craftyhunnypie
Hiya - I've got a subscription to Crafts Beautiful Magazine. It was a present & I quite enjoy it as I love anything crafty. I got a free cutting & scoring card making gadget too. I also enjoy reading & making things from Simply Knitting Magazine. Another one I used to subscribe to was BBC Good Food. That was very good & had some good competitions & giveaways. I won a delonghi coffee maker from that magazine! I'd love a subscription to Practical Poultry, but somehow I think sister in law will get me that for Xmas! Don't really know about how good the magazines are that you're thinking of, after doing Interior design I think I've seen enough ' housey' mags to last me a lifetime! I love cooking magazines these days, but half of the recipes you can get from the internet anyway. So now I go into WHsmiths, flick through & if it looks good then I buy it, if not it stays on the shelf! Emma.x
little cluckers
I subscribed to delicious since it began in December 2003 but stopped it in June because they seemed to repeat the same themes over and over-Italian was popular, I realise it must be hard to think of new recipes and themes but it just became very samey! Having said that I've built up a great library of recipes from them so it was worth it! Currently getting Gardeners world as it was on offer in the Tesco's voucher book! KeymerKim
I don't know about the magazines you mentioned, but I too got a subscription to Gardeners World because of Tesco vouchers!! I also occasionally buy "Grow your Own" which is a kitchen garden magazine - it is always packed full of great ideas and always seems to have an article on something that I am thinking about at that particular time! I haven't yet subscribed to this, but I will do when I get a mo. KeymerKim

redfrock
I subscribe to delicious and love it although I probably read more than i cook, still I like to have it popping through the door every month rather than cosmo or such like I save my tesco's vouchers all year to pay for the New Years Eve party I hold (and I cook every thing from scratch - so by midnight everyone else is partying and I am spark out! ) This year our friend Milly played Auld Lang Syne on the bagpipes in full regalia (and no I'm not telling! ). He was in the Irish guards - the neighbours came round to toast in midnight and watch. This year he will be in Afghan though Had to edit this because I had wriiten complete jibberish Edited September 4, 2007 by Guest

redfrock
I also occasionally buy "Grow your Own" I must be tired. I just read this as "Crow your own" think I had better go to bed - before I misread anything else or write more jibberish

Cinnamon
Heat is the only one I will have anything to do with, & I reckon its worth the money as all us girls read it. My celebrity knowledge is quite something, let me tell you I cannot bear Take A Break,Pick Me Up & the rest of them

I used to spend them in Tesco but now I just save up for treat instead.
